Qu’est-ce que S.T.A.L.K.E.R.?
La série S.T.A.L.K.E.R. est un jeu de tir à la première personne avec quelques éléments de jeu de rôle. Vous êtes un stalker qui explore la zone tout autour de la centrale nucléaire de Tchernobyl en Ukraine où a eu lieu la désormais célèbre catastrophe du 26 avril 1986. Vous êtes à la recherche d’artéfacts rares et précieux que d’autres stalker convoitent également. C’est virtuellement très intéressant d’avoir la chance d’explorer un endroit si mystérieux. Les graphiques sont tout simplement impressionnants et grâce à un atmosphère sonore riche, l’immersion est surprenante. La première fois que j’ai lu à propos de ce jeu, le concept de la zone et tout, j’étais très emballé et j’étais déjà un fan. Après plusieurs délais le jeu est sorti et j’ai enfin eu la boîte entre mes mains. J’aurais bien aimé avoir une édition pour collectionneur mais il n’y en avait pas pour l’Amérique du Nord.
Un peu plus d’un an après est venu le second épisode qui en fait était un prologue. Je dois d’abord vous spécifier que je ne suis pas un grand joueur qui passe des heures à jouer à tout plein de jeux. Je suis plutôt sélectif dans les jeux que je veux essayer et encore plus dans ceux que je veux acheter mais lorsque j’en trouve un qui me plaît vraiment, je regarde toujours s’il n’y aurait pas une édition pour collectionneur tout comme j’ai fait pour Diablo II. Hélas il n’y a pas eu d’édition pour collectionneur du premier S.T.A.L.K.E.R. qui a été distribué par THQ et j’étais déçu d’apprendre qu’il n’y en aurait pas pour le second, cette fois distribué par DeepSilver.

C’est alors que j’ai eu l’idée de démarrer une pétition très rapidement, car le jeu allait être disponible très bientôt. Puis après un délai d’un mois il y avait 172 signatures. Je me suis dit que ce n’était pas si mal!

Cathy Tische, vice-présidente des ventes et du marketing chez DeepSilver, m’informe qu’il n’y aura pas d’édition spéciale en Amérique. Ma seule option était donc d’acheter une édition d’un pays étranger mais je n’étais pas très intéressé car c’était non seulement beaucoup plus dispendieux mais il était aussi incertain que la langue française et/ou anglaise soit disponible dans le jeu.

Sur mon bureau il y avait un géocoin. Si vous ne savez pas ce qu’est un géocoin, c’est probablement que vous n’avez jamais entendu parler de géocaching. Je vous suggère d’aller lire ma section sur le sujet ou de vous informer car c’est une activité extérieure très intéressante. Un géocoin est habituellement une jolie pièce que les géocacheurs font voyager d’une cache à l’autre et que l’on peut généralement suivre sur internet grâce à un identifiant unique. Je me souviens du premier géocoin que j’ai trouvé pas longtemps après avoir commencé le géocaching. C’était une pièce des forces armées Canadiennes et j’étais impressionné par la qualité de la pièce et sa lourdeur. Quand je dis pièce, rien à voir avec avec une pièce de 25 cents. Curieux de voir une photo? Faites une recherche de TB1MT7X.
C’est à ce moment que j’ai eu cette idée. Avoir une pièce de collection unique, dédiée à S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
J’ai écrit un petit courriel à Landsharkz avec quelques questions de base à propos de mon projet. J’avais des questions comme la quantité minimale et je voulais obtenir une idée des prix. Une seule pièce aurait coûté très cher car l’étape de la création de la matrice est la plus dispendieuse. Une fois la matrice faite, le prix de chaque pièce diminue, plus on en veut. Alors je n’ai eu d’autre choix que de m’enligner pour une production de 100 pièces puisque c’était le minimum requis.

Ma première étape à ce stade-ci fût d’entrer en contact avec GSC Game World afin de demander s’il y avait un problème à créer et vendre 100 pièces car ce n’est pas comme si j’avais fait ma propre pièce dont ils n’auraient probablement jamais entendu parler. Aussi j’avais bien l’intention d’utiliser le titre/logo S.T.A.L.K.E.R. tel que défini par eux alors c’était, je trouve la moindre des choses de leur demander la permission. Mon but était de faire plaisir à 99 autres fans comme moi et donc de vendre les pièces sans faire un profit mais bien sûr de ne pas arriver en bout de ligne avec une perte d’argent non plus. J’avais déjà 3 adresses courriels connues chez GSC donc j’ai écrit aux 3.

Eh oui, exactement un mois plus tard j’ai enfin reçu un message de Oleg : « Sorry for the silence on my part ». J’ai pas posé de question à propos de son silence puisque dans le même message j’avais un OK de sa part pour mon projet et ça faisait bien mon affaire!

Ma langue maternelle étant le français, il m’a fallu plus d’une heure pour composer et retoucher la lettre que vous pourrez lire un peu plus bas et que j’ai envoyé dans la journée du 24. Je voulais écrire quelque chose de bien et qui faisait sérieux comme démarche. J’ai donc envoyé en premier une copie à Oleg pour son approbation car ça allait vraiment annoncer à plusieurs le tout début de ce projet.
J’ai aussi envoyé une collection d’images à Landsharkz afin qu’ils aient une meilleure idée du projet et de voir ce qu’il était possible de faire. Alors sans vous montrer toutes les images que j’ai envoyé, je vous montre le premier dessin brouillon que j’ai fait à l’aide de l’application très simpliste MS Paint!
L’idée du signe radioactif m’est venue en premier puisque très représentatif de la zone et aussi souvent utilisé par GSC. Je savais également depuis le début que je voulais afficher un boulon (!) car c’est très propre à S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Que vous l’utilisiez ou non, je trouvais ça original et curieux pour les gens à qui la pièce allait être présentée. Enfin, j’ai aussi eu l’idée du masque à gaz mais pas d’idée pour mettre dans l’espace vide restant, et je n’avais rien en vue pour le centre que je n’étais pas certain de vouloir utiliser de toute façon.
La cerise sur le sundae était pour moi la disponibilité de couleurs qui brillent dans le noir. Tout de suite je m’imaginais le sigle radioactif noir que je pouvais faire ressortir dans l’obscurité, ce qui donnait une autre dimension assez unique et alléchante à la pièce. Je pensais aussi aux moments où vous ferez la démonstration à vos amis dans la noirceur. De plus, on sait que certains artéfacts brillent dans le noir donc belle similitude avec le jeu…
J’avais déjà mon idée comment présenter la pièce à tout le monde. Un vidéo montrant la pièce tournant au ralenti afin de bien voir tout le détail du 3D puis en finale de fermer l’éclairage afin de révéler le sigle radioactif noir grâce au contour brillant dans le noir. J’imaginais certains fans s’exclamer WOW en la regardant tourner puis à nouveau un autre WOW une fois la lumière fermée.

La prochaine étape consistait à savoir combien de gens pourraient être intéressés alors ma première idée fût d’envoyer tout d’abord un courriel aux 172 adresses courriels récoltées durant la pétition. Mais avant de procéder, j’ai préféré créer un autre compte Gmail au nom de A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Fan afin de mieux gérer ce projet plutôt que d’utiliser mon compte Rhialto. Je me disais que ça serait beaucoup plus facile pour gérer tous les courriels à venir.
Alors sans entrer dans les détails, et afin d’éviter de me répéter, voici le message envoyé à chacun individuellement à l’aide du champ CCi afin de préserver l’identité de chacun :

Aujourd’hui j’ai eu l’idée de peut-être mettre le logo de GSC dans le centre du signe radioactif. J’ai donc envoyé un courriel à Oleg afin de savoir si c’était chose possible sans même être certain de vraiment vouloir l’utiliser. Ça aurait bien sûr donné un peu plus de crédit ‘officiel’ à cette pièce mais était-ce vraiment important après avoir déjà reçue leur approbation pour faire la pièce?

Tôt ce samedi, après le délai écoulé, j’avais reçu 23 réponses positives. Un peu moins que ce à quoi je m’attendais mais peu importe, c’était maintenant le temps d’annoncer le projet à tous les autres fans sur les forums. Encore une fois j’ai créé un compte avec le nom A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Fan sur chacun des 2 forums que j’avais l’habitude de fréquenter, soit le official GSC forum et The Zone Survival Guide forum.
Heureusement, 2 personnes répondant au nom de Don Reba (sur the GSC forum) et Dartz-IRL (sur ZSG forum) ont gentiment accepté de me donner les droits de modérateur pour la durée de ce projet afin que je puisse gérer la discussion que je m’apprêtais à créer. Merci les gars!

Comme vous pouvez le constater, du 30 septembre au 12 octobre je suis passé de 23 à 73 réponses positives. C’est pas mal du tout et j’étais prêt à pousser un peu plus loin le projet!
Dans les jours qui ont suivi j’ai fait plusieurs échanges de messages avec Landsharkz afin d’expliquer un peu plus comment je voyais la pièce. C’est vraiment un moment intéressant de pouvoir soumettre nos propres idées.
Il aura fallu encore un peu de temps avant d’avoir une réponse d’Oleg, cette fois pour l’utilisation du logo de GSC. Je suppose qu’il a dû s’informer auprès de Sergiy Grygorovych, le fondateur de GSC Game World? Bref, la réponse fût : « I don’t think we can use GSC logo on your coin », et moi je n’y voyais aucun inconvénient. J’ai d’ailleurs mis à jour la F.A.Q. à ce propos. Le cas était clos.

C’est aujourd’hui que j’ai reçu une première ébauche de Landsharkz. Habituellement ils ne travaillent pas vraiment sur un projet avant de leur avoir versé un dépôt donc c’était sympa de leur part de me donner une idée de ce que pouvait avoir l’air une ébauche chez eux.
Alors avec toutes les images et informations déjà envoyées, voici ce que Chris m’a présenté comme première ébauche :
Vous pouvez constater que le 23 septembre j’avais spécifié vouloir utiliser le Glow #7 et cette ébauche montre plutôt l’utilisation du Glow #5. J’ai discuté avec Chris à ce propos car l’échantillon sur leur site montrait clairement le Glow #5 comme étant vert, plutôt loin du jaune désirée. Chris me confirma que le Glow #5 était vraiment jaune et dès lors j’ai changé pour celui-ci, ce qui me rendait aussi plus heureux que l’utilisation du Glow #7.
Le numéro de série montre 250, mais j’ai spécifié plus tard que la quantité serait limitée à 100. Le masque à gaz en place est celui plutôt utilisé pour un rendu 2D et fait un peu trop bande dessinée. J’ai plus tard spécifié que c’était bien du 3D que je voulais, même si je ne détestais pas le look de ce masque.
En gros c’était une belle surprise mais il restait du travail à faire pour en arriver au résultat final que j’avais en tête et je leur ai spécifié de ne pas trop mettre d’énergie parce que j’attendais encore que plus de gens soient intéressés.

J’attendais toujours une réponse d’Oleg à propos du message en Ukrainien à utiliser. Or, aujourd’hui j’entre en contact avec Don Reba pour lui parler aussi du message en question. Il me répond dans les minutes suivantes qu’il était en train de discuter avec Atem sur ICQ. Il lui a donc fait suivre mon intention et Atem a retourné à Don la traduction désirée ainsi qu’une suggestion de message à utiliser qui était Ми не повинні забувати 26 квітня 1986 et ce fût en bout de ligne mon choix favori donc je l’ai conservé.
J’ai aussi un compte ICQ depuis les premiers mois de l’existence de ICQ alors que c’était Mirabilis qui était propriétaire. Ça faisait plusieurs années que je ne l’avais pas utilisé. J’étais curieux de voir si ça fonctionnait toujours. J’ai utilisé le nouveau ICQ2Go qui ne nécessite aucune installation de client et j’ai réussi à me connecter. Je me suis même souvenu de mon mot de passe! Don m’a donné le numéro ICQ de Atem mais ce dernier venait de quitter donc j’ai chatté avec lui une autre journée.

Laissez-moi vous présenter Megamat
Je désire vous parler d’un fan qui a beaucoup aidé à l’avancement de ce projet. Megamat, l’administrateur du site stalkerfrance.com, était tellement emballé par l’idée de cette pièce qu’il a décidé d’en commander 20 à sa charge et de les distribuer lui-même en France et les environs.
Aussi, j’aimerais remercier de nouveau Megamat car aussitôt que j’ai dit à la compagnie que j’allais procéder (aujourd’hui le 15), il m’a payé le montant total de sa commande. J’étais un peu hésitant à payer de ma poche le montant du dépôt initial puis de devoir payer ensuite le montant restant sur réception des pièces. Je lui suis donc reconnaissant de sa grande confiance envers moi puisque je dois souligner qu’il ne me connaît pas, si ce n’est que d’avoir vu mon nom depuis belle lurette sur le forum officiel de GSC. Je peux vous dire que dans un cas semblable, il est fort probable que je n’aurais pas eu le courage d’envoyer autant d’argent à une personne que je ne connais pas. Alors grâce à lui, j’ai aussitôt contacté Landsharkz pour leur dire que je désirais procéder.
J’ai écrit à Landsharz afin qu’il m’envoie une facture PayPal pour le montant du dépôt demandé.

C’est aujourd’hui que m’est venu l’idée du dernier item à mettre dans le triangle vide. Un compteur Geiger! 3 items donc qui sont fortement recommandés avant de s’aventurer dans la zone, un masque à gaz, un compteur Geiger et des boulons pour lancer ici et là afin de repérer les anomalies. J’ai chatté avec Atem aujourd’hui afin de lui demander s’il avait une photo d’un compteur Geiger du temps de 1986 et il m’a envoyé 2 grosses photos que j’ai ensuite fait suivre à Landsharkz.
J’ai reçu la facture PayPal et j’ai aussitôt envoyé le paiement. J’étais pas mal excité! Le soir même j’envoyais ce courriel aux 73 fans qui m’avaient répondu positivement afin de leur annoncer la bonne nouvelle :

It cost a fortune for faster delivery). To ship to USA it will cost 3.00$ CAD and to Canada it will cost 2.25$ Keep an eye on GSC forums, I will update the current thread when necessary but I plan to remain pretty quiet until I’m ready to show the coin. I know that a few of you were waiting to see the coin or at least a draft before jumping in and I can understand that but I have no intention to show any draft of the coin until completion, see F.A.Q. So until I receive the coin and present it to you, I will not add anymore names to the current list. This will give me a break. Aujourd’hui j’ai reçu le premier brouillon officiel de Chris (c’est-à-dire après le dépôt). C’est une mise à jour plus complète puisque j’avais eu le temps déjà de transmettre quelques corrections depuis la dernière fois. Cette fois on y voit tous les items et comme vous pouvez le constater, la cheminée est en couleur et j’aime beaucoup puisque ça la fait ressortir et on se souvient que même GSC avait mis un certain emphase sur cette icône de Tchernobyl lors de la présentation de S.T.A.L.K.E.R. On constate aussi que Chris a eu l’idée de mettre le message en Ukrainien sur le côté 1 de la pièce puisque ce n’était pas possible de le mettre sur le côté. Je n’étais pas certain si j’aimais ou non cette alternative puisque j’avais la possibilité d’y aller avec un message en anglais sur le côté de la pièce ou bien en Ukrainien comme ceci :
J’ai demandé à faire quelques changements cosmétiques comme le compteur Geiger un peu moins en angle, aligner sur la droite le message Ukrainien et remplacer le logo S.T.A.L.K.E.R. par l’original pour avoir l’effet ondulé comme vous le constaterez plus bas.

J’ai reçu la version presque finale mais il y avait un petit quelque chose qui manquait par rapport à la dernière version et c’est la ligne d’horizon qui place un peu plus bas le message Ukrainien et ce dernier sur un fond noir :

Chris m’a envoyé la dernière version, version qui sera envoyée à la manufacture. J’ai fait une toute petite correction et je lui ai retourné tout de suite en lui mentionnant que ceci sera la version finale.

Chris et moi étions satisfaits avec le résultat actuel de l’ébauche donc elle a été envoyée à la manufacture pour le rendu 3D. Cette dernière devait refaire le travail à partir de ce que Chris avait fait mais cette fois avec un autre logiciel. Cette nouvelle ébauche pourra être envoyée à la machine pour la production de la matrice. Aussi, l’ébauche nous sera présentée avec une impression de 3D à l’aide de niveaux de gris différents ce qui donnera une meilleur idée du résultat final. Encore une semaine d’échange de courriels entre Chris et la manufacture.
Pendant ce temps le dollar Canadien piquait du nez et je n’avais d’autre choix que de prévenir les 73 fans que j’allais maintenant demandé à être payé en dollar US.

Quelle longue période d’attente avant de pouvoir jeter un premier coup d’oeil au rendu 3D! Chris a en fait reçu un premier brouillon le 26 ou 27 mais il n’était pas assez satisfait avec le résultat donc il a demandé quelques changements avant de m’envoyer ce premier résultat. Oubliez le look plutôt jaune car ça n’a rien à voir avec la couleur de la pièce.
Voici ce que ça donne en 3D (je sais qu’il s’agit encore de 2D mais en étant habitué on peut beaucoup mieux s’imaginer le résultat final en 3D).
Déjà je pouvais sentir sous mes doigts la texture 3D du logo S.T.A.L.K.E.R., super! Mais je trouvais qu’il y avait encore du travail à faire sur la cheminée. Je n’aimais pas son look fraîchement peinte alors Chris a demandé à retravailler cette partie. En fait j’avais déjà ma propre idée de comment en arriver à un résultat laissant paraître l’usure que j’avais expliquée à Chris donc c’était le moment de tenter d’expliquer au manufacturier et de trouver un moyen pour arriver à un look similaire.

Il a fallu une très longue semaine seulement pour avoir ces petites modifications sur la cheminée. Si vous regardez comme il faut, vous verrez que la peinture semble endommagée maintenant. Je préfère beaucoup ceci à l’ancienne version où de la peinture grise avait plutôt été utilisé.
C’était pas loin d’être parfait pour moi. La seule chose que je voulais c’était d’abaisser à peine le numéro de série.

Voici le rendu final approuvé pour la production de la matrice. Les lignes colorées sur la droite indiquent les différents niveaux du métal (le plus élevé, milieu et le plus creux).
Le manufacturier en était donc rendu à la création de 3 échantillons avec de légères différences entre chaque pour par la suite pouvoir choisir nos préférences et y aller avec la production d’une pièce finale x 100. J’avais maintenant 3 très longues semaines d’attente environ avant de recevoir les échantillons…

Alors que j’attendais impatiemment l’arrivée des 3 échantillons la semaine prochaine, j’ai reçu une mauvaise nouvelle que je me suis empressé de communiquer à tous :

November 7th the final 3D art was approved, after which they need 3 full weeks before shipping 3 different samples. I was expecting to get the samples next week. Today I received this message : « The mint says December 8th or maybe sooner. They had ‘a problem’ with the 3D-3D die and it is taking a bit longer, sorry. »
This means I should now receive the 3 samples only in the second week of December. In the same week I will decide what features of each sample coin to combine and this will result in one final and official coin. They then will need another 3 full weeks for the production of 100 coins. I have done my best to choose different features for the 3 samples so that there should be one that will have everything the way I want it. If I am happy with it, then I will be able to start working on a presentation to show it to you. If I have to combine features to get a final result then the presentation will be delayed until I get the final shipment. Initially, I had hoped for a delivery before Christmas, but it seems it won’t happen. Sincerely, |

J’ai reçu une photo des 3 échantillons! Malheureusement, le fini argent antique que j’avais demandé n’est pas dans le lot. Ce n’est pas la faute à Landsharkz. J’ai demandé à faire faire un autre échantillon comme j’avais initialement demandé car c’est selon moi celui qui donnera le meilleur résultat et c’est cet échantillon que je voulais utiliser pour faire la présentation vidéo aux fans.

On me dit qu’il faudra au moins 10 à 12 jours pour l’échantillon. Je ne suis pas très content! J’essaie de mettre un peu de pression sur Landsharkz afin qu’eux mettent de la pression sur le manufacturier puisque après tout ce sont eux qui n’ont pas fait les échantillons tel que demandé au départ. Grrr!

December 9th I had a message titled “sample photo”. I was very excited and nervous to open it! But, when I saw the photos, I had mixed feelings. The good news is that the coin look awesome. I have no doubt that everyone will like the coin. The less good news is that none of the samples I will receive next week is made of the metal and finish I asked for. What does this mean? It means that I won’t have the coin I wanted to show to everyone. And you will understand that I cannot present a coin that do not match exactly what everyone will get. Remember I have no control over the project at this point. I’m doing business with a company that do business with a manufacturer. Believe me, having to announce another bad news, which is again another delay, is very frustrating for me. Manufacturing errors happen but, twice in this adventure is no fun at all. Another frustrating factor is that the Holidays are coming and everything will be slow. Because of that, I expect the good sample to be in my hands early in January but, I think it would be safer to quote a famous saying in gaming industry, which is : “when it’s done”. Let me add a happy ending to this update by showing you a tiny part of the coin. It’s in B&W to hide the wrong color, and it’s tiny because I want to keep the mystery until the grand unveiling.

J’ai reçu 3 photos des nouveaux échantillons (antique argent) qui sont entre les mains de Landsharkz! Je m’attendais à en recevoir qu’un seul puisque mes choix étaient faits quand au design final. Très réussi mais à un détail près, le mot S.T.A.L.K.E.R. n’était pas aussi lisible que sur les échantillons précédents. Je vais attendre d’avoir entre les mains ces derniers avant de me prononcer.

J’ai reçu les 3 premiers échantillons et sans être exactement comme je le voulais puisque ils servent à montrer et choisir différentes caractéristiques, il n’en demeure pas moins que la qualité de la pièce est très ‘hot’! Je suis impressionné.
Postes Canada n’étant pas capable de respecter ses délais, je ne recevrai les 3 échantillons argent antique que le 5 janvier. 🙁

J’ai reçu les 3 nouveaux échantillons et en effet, il y a une petite différence qui m’agace un peu lorsque je les compare aux 3 premiers mais la correction sera faite pour la livraison finale.
J’ai passé quelques heures en fin de journée à filmer la pièce pour faire un montage et en arriver à une présentation vidéo.

J’ai dû remettre au vendredi suivant l’envoi des factures par PayPal pour ceux qui ont passé commande. Une surprise très moche m’attendait à mon retour du bureau. Juste avant le souper, je monte à l’étage afin de faire quelques vérifications sur l’ordinateur, puis je constate qu’il est figé. J’essais alors de le redémarrer mais rien à faire. Mon disque dur principale, oui oui mon super Raptor X, donnait une erreur de disque au démarrage, directement dans le MBR. S’en suivi pour toute la soirée des heures de diagnostiques et de tentatives de corrections d’erreurs mais c’était peine perdue, le disque est une perte totale.
Vendredi est une journée de congé pour moi et j’ai passé toute cette journée à remonter le système d’exploitation. Quelle joie! :-/

Les 100 pièces sont en production. Un côté de la matrice a dû être refait. On m’a dit que je devrais recevoir les pièces dans environ 4 semaines.
J’ai retourné sous garantie mon très cher Raptor X. Hélas on a pas pu me redonner un autre Raptor X avec couvercle transparent. Je l’avais acheté à l’époque car c’était le seul disque dur à se vendre où l’on pouvait voir l’intérieur fonctionner. J’avais bien l’intention de le conserver puisque ça fait partie de l’histoire de l’informatique et j’aurais aussi pu le montrer à mes petits enfants (je suis encore très loin d’être rendu là) et eux rire de cette technologie si ancienne, hehe. Mais heureusement, par une circonstance particulière, j’ai reçu un disque de remplacement plutôt intéressant qui je crois peu compenser en partie ma tristesse de ne plus avoir en main un unique Raptor X transparent.

Bonne nouvelle, j’ai reçu les pièces! Malheureusement il y avait un petit quelque chose d’imprévu et j’ai dû envoyer ce message à tous les acheteurs :

Good news, the coins were delivered to me today so I will be able to ship them this Friday the 20th. They look awesome BUT NOT EXACTLY like I wanted and like it was shown in the video presentation. The difference is on the side with the radiation sign where there is now a black painted background. The original showed  What I received on left – How I wanted it on right (sample)This is not my fault, neither Landsharkz fault, but the manufacturer’s mistake. Now, I know that probably some of you will like it better this way and some would have preferred the original one. This is why I am sending you this email. J’avais conservé une seule pièce (#009) pour vendre sur eBay par curiosité et c’est aujourd’hui que je décide de la mettre en vente après un moment de répis. C’est donc à 16:35:59 HAE et pour 7 jours que je place l’annonce au même montant que j’ai vendu toutes les pièces, soit 18$ US. Par contre, j’offrais l’envoi gratuitement puisque moins compliqué à gérer selon la partie du globe où irait la pièce.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R Was a game i stumbled upon, and fell in love with, it is a simply amazing game. Nothing comes close to the level of immersion you get from playing. Iv told everyone i know about it and gotten them to play it, and learn about the events that the game is based around. So many people do not know what it is or what happend. The Coin is, stunning, im beyond impressed at the quality and detail of it, i was very sad when i heard the US would not get a CE of Clear Sky, but i stumbled upon this post from a person named Rhialto about a project to make a coin as a collectors item for people unvailable to obtain the Europe version. I quickly replied and got my word in, received many messages and whatnot from him about the progress. and months later i have this amazing item that im gonna show to EVERYONE!Thank you Rhialto, you have done alot for us! »

« I have to say that is one fantastic coin! Besides being a big weighty bugger, it must be the thickest coin I’ve ever gotten, it’s also very detailed and the glow i the dark rad sign must be the most luminescent I’ve ever seen. It actually casts a shadow on small nearby objects when fully charged and lasts all night. I wonder what a Geiger counter would be saying if placed next to it. 8)
